Question by Jaylah Pitt: I think I'm ready to have sex with this guy?

Well I have this amazing guy friend Aidan, and he is honestly the best person I've ever met. We've been friends since I moved to Jersey two years ago. Today, I could say he's my best friend for sure. So it was maybe August when I first hooked up with him (no intercourse though.) And ever since, we've been getting together on a regular basis. It's getting really... intense now, and I guess that in a way I'm scared. We're both trying really hard to stay virgins until marriage, but it is so hard! Earlier today, I almost had sex with him, but we decided to stop because we know that the right thing to do is to stay pure. I kind of regret stopping thouh. It wouldn't feel right with anyone with anyone else but him, and I really feel like this is the guy I've been dreaming about since middle school. I completely trust him, (which says a lot because I've had trust issues.) But I guess that my question is would it be wrong to have sex with him without exactly being in a committed relationship? It's not like we're dating, but he's my best friend, and I really do love him. I don't know exactly why we aren't dating, but it might have something to do with the fact I broke up with my last boyfriend four months ago, and I'm completely over that guy.... I just don't have good relationships, and I'm scared to date him. I don't want to hurt him, and I'm afraid of getting hurt too. I want things to stay how they are, but the sexual tension between Aidan and I is really strong, and it sometimes makes things awkward when we're with our other friends, or when we're just alone even... I know we both really want to have sex, but we just don't know if it would be right. What's the worst thing that could happen if I go all the way with him? I've heard that relationships change after you have sex, but how? I don't know how stupid I may sound... you can tell me, but I like to think I have a good head on my shoulders. I guess I'm just confused. I really love this guy, what do you think?

Don't do it.It seems so tempting now,but after wards chances are you will regret it.Adding sex to the equation adds a completely different element to the relationship.Seriously...Wait until marriage.=)Good luck
